Ich werd zwar hoffnungslos müde sein, weil ich die nacht jetzt wohl oder übel in der firma verbringe, aber gegen bier und rote läuse hätt ich trotzdem nix :-)

did some work-travelling during the last weeks.
first to g8 / heiligendamm, which was pretty nice as we didn´t concentrate that much on the summit but more on the demonstration camps.
also the press-center was right to the baltic sea so that we were able to spend most of our spare-time there on the beach. oh, and the weather was great, too! :-)
oh, and the norway-trip was definatley one of the best shootings i´ve ever done.
the landscape there is nothing but breathtaking and shoot itself was pretty exciting and adventurous.... climbing, going by ship and helicopter and still some time left for us to do some sightseeing.
gah, wanna do more shootings like that.... but it´s so rare that production companies spend money for producing such wonderfull stuff like that.
In other news i´ll start a new job in august, which makes me pretty happy, too... even if i loved working as a freelancer and made better money with it than i expected.
but i love the company and the people i´ll work with and the job / money is good, too.
my father will visit me tomorrow for some days.... have to clean the flat and finish some home improvement before.
haven´t seen some of you for ages! i´ll leave to bonn for 5 days or so together with my dad. but after that we need to have some drinks! :-)

falls denn jemand ´ne wohnung sucht, bzw. jemanden kennt, der sucht...
die wohnung neben mir ist zum 1.7. frei geworden und mein vermieter hat gefragt, ob ich nicht jemand nettes kennen würde.
2 zimmer, ca. 60qm und ansonsten wohl genauso geschnitten wie meine, nur halt spiegelverkehrt. die miete müsste so bei ca. 300 € kalt liegen, denke ich (wobei die betriebskosten bei mir im haus erstaunlich niedrig sind).
das haus ist extrem nett, die lage ist prima - genau zwischen fhain und prenzlberg und direkt am volkspark und extrem ruhig isses dafür auch noch.
auf jeden fall würd ich mich über nette nachbarn echt freuen... deshalb frag ich halt einfach mal rum :-) |

tomorrow morning i´ll leave to norway for 4 days. we´ll shoot for 3sat/nano about climate-change and stuff... so loads of ocean and nature! :-)
hehe... i´m soooo curious about doing that. will be loads of fun and the crew is nice, too :-)
oh, and did i ever mention that i wanna marry my dentist? he did great job with my wisdom tooth!
ok, off for cooking and getting my stuff together for tomorrow. |

to everybody who helped abwaerts and me making Kinky Cocktails and Revolution to the nice and fun events they were.
Especially to firstaidkid, lati_bln, Mehmet, Megan, Hell Sindustries, Marcel, Daniel, Markus, Paul America, Bomb Boutique, Allen TG, Tiziano, Dangerous Dolly (who safed our asses by taking Lydia Morgan´s place at that short notice!), and everybody else!
Thank you too, to everybody who joined the parties as a guest and made the evenings that nice and colorful and to all of you, who came back to us with any kind of feedback! :-)
I´ll try to do a full review of the weekend during the next days and post some photos, too.
But for now it seems pretty sure that we´ll make the Kinky Cocktails a regular event (every 3 moth or so) even if we try to find another location for it.
I´ll tell more about it as soon as i can :-) |

Went to Rostock yesterday to shoot the G8-demonstrations for the polish tv.
I guess there were about 50.000 people and it was the first demonstration after quite a long time i saw, which took place almost without some riot-seeking tourist-teens. Even if the "black-block" of the protests was HUGE, i was really kinda staggered that most of them were 25+.
Looks like the G8-summit and the connected way of politics takes a lot of people back to the street, who hasn´t been there for ages, which is great!
Sure, you always have some idiots who throw stones from the 25th row of the demonstration or destroy things just for fun.
But still, the way the cops reacted was insane!
There was a stage with some concerts and peaceful demonstration going on and when the cops stroke back to the riots which happened on the brink of the scene, they shot with water cannons right in the middle of the crowd who was there just for listening the concerts.... not to mention the amounts of teargas they used.
There were families with their children, old people and thousands of people who didn´t want to do anything else than having a peaceful demonstration... and the way the cops behaved destroyed the whole event and let the whole scene escalate.
It was kinda weird to see that whole scenario.
Imagine: Juli is playing on stage an unplugged version of "while my guitar gentley weeps", right next to the stage people are having drinks and food on some boothes, and right in front of the stage the cops hit the crowd who wanted to listen to the concerts with 5 or 6 water canons.
I can SO UNDERSTAND the people there went mad and tried to stike back!!
When we wanted to go home and tried to leave the event on straight way to our car, which was parked only 800m away from the riots, the police jumped in our way and regardless to any presscards ´n stuff, they made us taking our way out of the drama right through flying stones and water canons... with our whole equipment (it was so clear for them that we wanted to do nothing else but leave)!!
So after seeing the things like i did yesterday, i´m pretty speachless and kinda shocked (even if i expected to be it like that) and if i didn´t went to Heiligendamm next week for work anyway, i´d surely go there for taking part at the protests.
So just in case you don´t know what to do next week.... Heiligendamm would be a good decision.
Today the newspapers are full with messages who tell about more than 400 wounded policemen and violent and trigger-happy autonomous left activists... but i didn´t find anything about wounded demonstrators... there must be much more than 400.

wie die meisten ja wissen, hat lustwandel zugemacht.
wir räumen grade den laden aus und da wären noch folgende sachen, die ein neues zu hause suchen:
- 2 oder 3 Lack-Regale in Birke (maße: 35x38x1980 cm B/T/H)
- der Packtisch aus´m Büro (geht gut als steh-arbeitsplatz oder so): was da wäre 1 kommode mit rollen drunter in weiß mit 2 grauen rolltüren + hellgrau, bzw. weiße arbeitsplatte
und jetzt das sorgenkind
im laden steht immer noch ne wirklich wirklich schöne alte schulbank (so um die jahrhundertwende) ... foto poste ich heute abend ggf. noch eins.
das ding muss bis mittwoch UNBEDINGT ein neues zu hause gefunden haben, weil nämlich sonst nirgendwo mehr platz dafür ist.
der ganze kram kann gern auch angeguckt werden. wir sind heute auf jeden fall im laden, ich weiß nur nicht wie lange.... schickt mir einfach ´ne sms (0177-9257612 - ich hab im laden leider keinen empfang, der zum telefonieren reicht) und sagt bescheid, wenn ihr gucken kommen wollt.
also wenn ihr interesse habt, oder jemanden kennt, der mit den sachen was anfangen könnte, meldet euch! :-) |

just wanted to let you all know, that i´m still alive... i´ll do a full update within the next days.... so here just the basic data
- the flu and my head gets better... slowly, but better!!
- in bonn right now, as my other grandpa died, too last friday
- be back in berlin saturday morning cuz i´ve to work saturday n sunday
- firstaidkid: just saw your sms... left my cellphone at my ma´s house... i give you a call tomorrow... what about monday evening? my brain works again and we could start building the site?
gah, that´s all for now... in a hurry as we still have to do things for the funeral tomorrow morning.
fuck, i´m afraid of going there... :-((( |
